Weekend

Friday, Mitch and I went on a date. We went to Chick-fil-A at 4 (not because we are 60, but because Mitch forgot to eat lunch and couldn't make it through the movie without eating) and then we went to see Valentine's Day, which we both really liked. Then we went to Bailey's Chocolate Bar for a beer milkshake. After that we went over to Kara and Ben's to hang out with Jenna and Aaron while they babysat Maren. We haven't stayed up that late in a long time.

Saturday was gorgeous...sunny and warm, in the 50's! Heidi and I went to Forest Park for a run. It was so nice to be outside without having 18 layers on! I am so ready for Spring and SO OVER the snow.

Sunday-church, nap and then I cooked all afternoon. I made Pioneer Woman's Chicken Spaghetti (my favorite PW recipe), Chicken Pot Pie and meatloaf. I made double of each recipe and froze them so hopefully I won't have to cook for a while:)

Happy Hour

If you haven't been to the Drunken Fish in the Central West End you need to go!! Especially on Wednesday night from 5-6 for happy hour. Here's the deal...You buy one drink (most of them are half price) and you get a ticket to go through the sushi buffet. There are usually 4 different kinds of sushi plus fried rice and other things. After you finish your 1st plate, you get another ticket to go through again. So, buy one drink and get 2 trips to the buffet. I'm not usually a buffet kind of girl, but it's really good. The sushi is the best we've had in St. Louis. Mitch and I have been several times and we love it! Get there early because it fills up fast!

We are the WORST bloggers ever! It's been almost a year! And I really wanted to post a bunch of pictures from this year, but Mitch has all the pictures on his computer and he's at work. Ugh. Guess that will have to wait!

I already told you this, but every time I pass this shirt it reminds me of you. Remember? We were in Parisian one day and you tried on a similar outfit by Nanette Lepore. Very cute.

This top is so cute...it would be great with shorts. or jeans.

I absolutely LOVE this dress. It is super cute and not very expensive...$98 i think?? I would add a big brown belt and a necklace (if i was into jewelry). I'm thinking about getting it...maybe in red.

And lastly, this denim mini skirt. I only added it to this post because you are/were at one time obsessed with mini skirts. And I actually like this one, and you know how I feel about mini skirts. So, these are my suggestions. For now. You can always come visit me, and I'll take you in our store. And any other store you want to go in. Miss you, Em!

Number 2 Value Sized

Tonight was glorious and I'll tell you why...Mitch and I got to eat Chick-fil-A for dinner. I love Chick-fil-A. I miss Chick-fil-A. We have a couple here, but they are both pretty far away from where we live. I have been needing to go out to Chesterfield so I could go to Fleet's Feet and that happens to be where one of them is. So I went today after work. It was all I could think about all day. I met Mitch at the seminary and we went out to Chesterfield. It was better than I remembered!! Mitch and I always get a number 2 value sized so we can share the drink and fries and then we get an additional Chargrilled sandwich. Tonight was no exception. We evenly split the fries and ate those first. It didn't take long to realize that half wasn't going to be enough, so we went back for another order! Sandwich and Diet Lemonade were equally as amazing. I can't wait to plan my next trip!!
